DESOLATE MOTORSPORTS STOCK WIDTH FRONT & REAR PACKAGE

Package includes Desolate’s Stage 3 Stock Width front kit paired with the Rear Q80 Long Travel Kit. One of the most popular and common setups Desolate offers. This stock width long travel kit provides 17 inches of wheel travel and clears a 35-inch tire with stock fenders. Beams require modification to correct camber with uniball pivots to provide better articulation, while plating and trusses are installed for reinforcement. A mild drop pitman arm is provided to correct any extreme steering angles due to the increased ride height. We include King’s 3.0×12-inch IBP coilover shocks to provide superior dampening with our signature MRCD spec’d valving. It’s all solidly mounted into place using the Desolate Bronco front shock hoop and plate engine crossover. Also included are new alignment cams, stainless steel extended brake line kit, limit straps and Radius Arms.

 

Rear includes Deaver Q80 springs paired with a Desolate bushing which uses a larger head to allow more flex under rear articulation. We use a fabricated shackle and rear hanger to give the new spring maximum wheel travel and droop without leaf separation. Desolate’s upper rear shock mount bolts into place while the lower mounts are welded to the axle housing. This allows us to mount the provided King Performance Series 3.0×12-inch 3 tube bypass shocks or optional King Race Series shocks under the floorboard. To control the increased travel, a Desolate rear sway bar kit is included, which drastically increases on and off-road stability.
